Annie Wersching

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actress known for her character Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as the voice and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis and graduated in 1995. Wersching began her acting career through an appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and moved on to playing guest stars on such shows as Charmed Killer Instinct Supernatural and Cold Case. From March 2007 to November 2007, she had acting as Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap drama General Hospital. She has been employed at theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In her youth she was a competitive dancer in Irish dance as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. She graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theater from Millikin University. Following her two-season stint on 24 Wersching was a guest on a variety of shows, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which includes the co-star of 24 Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she appeared as an episode regular on the first season of Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the catcher role for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was revealed that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character on Twitter, before her identity was revealed by the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to play the part of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in season 2.
